Event Description
There is a little boy, Nate, from West Jefferson ( Ohio ), who has had a brain tumor since he was 20 months old. After 3 surgeries and countless rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, Nate (7) has just returned from St. Jude's with the news that he is no longer a candidate for further treatment or surgery. The family has met with Children's hospice and are concentrating on trying to make this Christmas special. His family has asked folks to send a Christmas card or a colored picture to encourage him. when i went to the site, there was an update saying that the family has been overwhelmed with Christmas cards. they are asking that people donate to children's hospitals, like St. Jude or one in your area, in lieu of cards. Hugs, Dawn
