Another update from Chuck Champbell from his facebook page.

Chuck Campbell We have exceeded the 8000 tickets sold point, so the prize package will be given away. We are going to stop selling tickets at 12AM EST on March 31st. We will then complete a final audit and are scheduled to fly back out to Los Angeles so that we can draw the winning ticket on April 15th (the show will air on the 16th. Things are continuing to go very well!! Thank you so much!!

The day of the drawing will be done on TV. If you miss the show, it will be posted on the website...www.newlungsforchuck.com. Posted below is the update so far.

We are selling tickets right up until Midnight EST March 31st. The Drawing will be on the Bonnie Hunt Show that will air Nation Wide on Friday, April 16th. Once the show has aired on the west coast we will post the results right here on the home page of our web site.

Hi Myra...just wanted you to know I donated to Chuck. Did he ever get aired on Ellen? Usually I catch her show but miss some.

Ticket sales are going GREAT!!!!! We will be selling tickets until midnight on March 31st. We'll then have a final audit. The drawing is going to take place on the Bonnie Hunt Show, which is (tentatively) scheduled to take place on APRIL 15TH. We will be updating this information as it comes in. The Bonnie Hunt show aired today with Chuck Campbell. On Bonnie Hunt's facebook page a note from Chuck Campbell's Mom was posted to Bonnie. I am sharing it here:

Mary MacKinnon BEAUTIFUL BONNIE...I am Chuck Campbell's Mother and I cannot express how much your show today means to our family. Requests for raffle tickets are coming in already! Chuck is my only child, and I can't stand to see what he is going through. His wife Vicki is one of the most awesome women I have ever known, and his c...hildren, my grandchildren...well, I just can't tell you how much WE ALL NEED CHUCK AND HOW MUCH WE ALL LOVE HIM. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Chuck Campbell was on the "Bonnie Hunt" this morning (Monday). Below is an udate of his appearance there.

I am watching the "Bonnie Hunt" show as I type. This has been one of the most moving talk shows I have ever seen. Not only has Bonnie been so completely wonderful in helping spread the word with Chuck Campbell and his family, but Joey Pants a guest donated out of his pocket. People in the audience got up and took money from their pockets and donated right on the show to Chuck.
There are no words to tell people what I saw on Bonnie Hunt's show this morning as Chuck, his wife, children, Chris Hagel and his wife sat crying. Beautiful, wonderful, touching and something I will remember the rest of my life. Giving, caring people from Bonnie, her guests and her audience. She is truly also a remarkable human being.

That is my update to the people on this site also helping with prayers, spreading the word and or donations, you are all truly remarkable human beings too I will keep everyone posted as I am updated. Thank you everyone.

Chuck has alot of support on facebook...one of the many replies he has received: If anyone can reach down deeply in their hearts and spread the word if not donate that is what this Country is about in times of need. WIth the health care system the way it is in the USA, we should all join hands in helping one another despite what Insurance companies will cover. When people unite they can move the world...

Hi Chuck, my name is Vito Valenti and I am a 9/11 First Responder who is now disabled with Pulmonary Fibrosis. I want to tell you that my thought's and prayer's are with you, and your family always. I have done many interviews on tv, and in the press, along with yourself. I was also in the Michael Moore's movie SICKO, ...and on the VIEW with Rosie O' Donnell. Chuck, I want to say to you stay strong, and God Bless You.

UPDATE!! Chuck is flying to LA tomorrow to met with Ellen. I believe the show is being taped tomorrow and will air WED...I will keep you posted as I hear anything else...He is over the moon right now and so are so many people spreading the word to help him live..Thank you Mary for all your support and well...your caring!!
