29-Day Giving Challenge

Yesterday my sister Trisha sent his to all her friends on here and got quite to feedback!
I think we should put this out to the community!
(Also today Wako started a Green Group! I see a pattern here!)

"It's a rainy day in Georgia let's all say a prayer of thanks! And do something good for the environment today as a gift.

I will use no heating or air conditioning today, ride to and from work with my husband, ride to and from lunch with a friend, have a cold dinner to save electricity, recycle as much a possible.

What will you do?"

Thanks Sis, I wasn't sure how to do this, but as usual you are always a big help, thanks for the nudge!
We'll see what happens...
You two are the GREEN sisters! Hooray!

Thanks for this challenge, and looking forward to more inspiring and conspiring with you.
It's easy for me not to use heating or a/c most of the year, because I live in SF. But know it's a sacrifice for many. So THANK YOU! I walk as much as I can, and fortunately can walk to a lot, including today: the post office and Trader Joe's.

OH, and a plug here for the Green(er) Giving Group. If you've been called by Sharon's challenge, please Join us!
Thanks for putting the link in Wako!
Today I walked to pick my daughter up from school. I don't use lights unless I have to.
Not raining today, but it is overcast and the ground is still wet! Yeah!
I will limit my time infront of the TV tonight, instead I will play games with my grandson (that I am keeping while his dad and new bride are on their honeymoon). I drove myself to work today, but I am driving my hybrid, so I will try to limit my errands so that they will conserve gas. Not sure what else, but I will keep thinking of ways to conserve and give back.
Yeah another sister! And you are in Ga?
and so it begins. Just one conscious thought to make the world a better place and viola...it is!
Keep it up ladies (and gentle men).
I love that we are all starting to think and act responsibly green! Check out this revolutionary idea at another blog I frequent:

You got the ball rolling, now lets see where it goes and what it can accomplish.
