Closing Discussion for CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR BOY DYING OF CANCER
Thanks so much to everyone who has responded to Noah and has sent him letters for Christmas.
The family is very thankful for the outpouring of support for Noah but has asked that their address be removed from all websites and that no more letters be sent.
Unfortunately, Noah's health has declined and he is not doing well. The family just wants to focus on being there for him in these diificult moments.
The gift I will now send out for the Noah family is one of thoughts of love, peace and comfort.

It's funny that you posted this, because I just sent Noah the first of the "Merry Christmas Mail "packages that we're doing on Operation Smiley Face next month. His story really touched me and my family. I hope the mail makes him smile.

That is great that you were able to be a part of that. It really puts into perspective the blessings we have in our life. My six year old daughter and niece are downstairs singing and dancing their hearts out and laughing so hard as I write this.
It makes me think about noah and how he should be able to be carefree in his childhood!! My thoughts go out to Noah and his family. Thanks for responding to my post!

Noah is touching the world in his own special way. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to hear his story. He surely has inpsired me to continue to live passionately in the present. Thank you for sharing his story with the 29 gifts community. That was very thoughtful of you. :)

I just went to buy the cards to send to Noah. While I was at the store, the cashier commended me on getting a jump start on my Christmas cards. I explained the situation to her. She was so touched that her eyes started to tear up. She then said that the store would send Noah a card (I had his address in my purse) and that she would send one after work. Then she said that she would put a sign out at the cash register explaining about Noah's Christmas. Hopefully lots of people will send cards.
