Closing Discussion for CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR BOY DYING OF CANCER

Thanks so much to everyone who has responded to Noah and has sent him letters for Christmas.

The family is very thankful for the outpouring of support for Noah but has asked that their address be removed from all websites and that no more letters be sent.

Unfortunately, Noah's health has declined and he is not doing well. The family just wants to focus on being there for him in these diificult moments.

The gift I will now send out for the Noah family is one of thoughts of love, peace and comfort.

Thanks
Alisa Wissell

Such a sad story. I'll be sending a card along with my prayers tomorrow. Sounds like Noah's mail box will be quite full.

I too recieved this message of Noah from "Pay it Forward Fridays" on Facebook. Can you imagine how many cards he is going to recieve! Awesome!

It's a small giving world! Noah was my "gift" for today! Before I logged on I just addressed the card to him. :) Glad others have heard about him and can be a part of the Biorkman family Christmas celebration, too! Prayers and best wishes to the family!

I sent out a card today. When I was taking it out my son, who is 6, saw and asked about it. I explained that it was for a little boy who is very sick, and might not live very much longer, and who wanted a lot of Christmas cards. He asked if he could write the message, and he wrote, "Dear Noah, Merry Christmas! Love," and then all of our names. It was very sweet and believe you me, I gave him an extra-tight hug afterwards.

The family has asked that people STOP sending cards at this point. They celebrated Christmas with Noah on the 8th of November. They never expected the overwhelming amount of cards. They are extremely thankful, but they can't handle them anymore. Noah is bedridden now and declining fast. They just want to focus on him for the rest of their time together.

They also asked that people remove their address from all forums and networking sites.

It's amazing how much I used to miss when I didn't take that "extra 20 minute" to just stop and listen. A valuable lesson learned.
