29-Day Giving Challenge

With material things often difficult to give away for those of us who work long hours during the week, I am reminded the importance of daily intentions to care for others. Even though many of us have this as part of our normal beliefs and actions, I have made extra efforts to put my awareness in my heart in order to shine at a higher vibration and to extend that with a loving smile to a stranger in a store, on the street, or at my office. I want others to know they matter. What do you do for others that doesn't involve money or material things?

Me too Maureen and Erin, what you said. I have a compulsion to give/receive smiles as I do my errands.

Recently I ran into a clerk from my local supermarket in another store and stopped to talk with her. It turned out she'd been off work for six months, first retired and then having major surgery. She wanted to talk and I wanted to hear. This sort of thing makes my day.
I really like all the ways everyone is sharing to touch other people to let them know they are valued. So many of us grew up feeling unseen, invisible, devalued, and unimportant. The wounds that most of us feel as human beings are deep whether they have been explored or not. It is those wounds that allow us to love others as we love ourselves to a healthy way of being in our world. For women, I believe many of us have such deep victim consciousness and our work in this lifetime is to move through that to empowered healthy vibrant and alive women....and to teach our sisters and daughters how to do that. Blessings to all of you!
Two strangers gave me a smile and a hug today. I don't know their names, but they made what was a difficult day for me much nicer. Thanks for this reminder to connect with others in ways that really matter.

The gifts from the heart and soul and that are free are by far the best gifts for me to give....

There are so many things we can do! Have fun with it...
