29-Day Giving Challenge

Hi everyone,

My 17 year old son is a brain tumor survivor and has been working on a giving project called Boredom Busters for a few years now. It is not a non-profit we use our own funds and donations from companies.

He puts together shoeboxes filled with toys, games, something to write with and write on and always a baseball hat. He is really struggling with getting donations right now and I thought that this might be an interesting idea for giving. He could really use boxes of crayons and post it notes. So if anyone feels like that would be something they would like for one of their giving days it would go to children fighting life threatening illnesses at hospitals across the east coast.

anyone who is interested in sending something to Michael please let me know and I will let you know how to do it.

Thank you,

Marcie

I am really struggling with how to reply to people directly it says I have to be friends with them. So I will give you my email and you can email me directly and I will respond with the address.

Thank you so much for being willing to help. We have delivered over 3,000 boxes so far. Michael had his MRI two days ago and everything looked good so we are thrilled.

Hi Marcie,
I would love to help your son. Please let me know how. Would he prefer to receive the physical items, or, would a gift card to WalMart ( or somewhere he may shop) be helpful? Great idea.

Helen

ps--- Just saw your e-mail address in a reply. I will e-mail you directly.
It is so wonderful to have gotten so many great replies to help Michael with his Boredom Busters project. He had his MRI on Wednesday and we are waiting to hear from his neurologist about the results. We know exactly what helps him to get through the boredom while waiting and love passing that along to other families struggling with these illnesses.

I have had a hard time responding back to some people so if you have not heard from me you can email me at threesenof@aol.com for the address to send your donations too.
Again, thank you.
Marcie

Hi Marcie! What products does Micheal currently need? I would love to help! Still crayons and post it notes? Or do you need other materials? Let us know so we can continue to help!

Take care! We are wishing Michal all the very best and sending nothing but love and prayers for good health his way.
