I would give my siblings the gift of pure calm and understanding that they are not alone in the troubles and depression and there is Hope in the world.
My sister, brother and childhood bff all suffer in their own ways and the world would be so beautiful, if they could break out of the cycles which hold them down.

This IS a tough one, but my first thought is to instill the confidence in everyone that anything is possible. I've always loved the question, "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"

I'd like to give two gifts to one group of people: to all middle-school children, I would like to give the gifts of inner peace and kindness. They would all be so much happier with each other, if I could only give them those two things.

I totally agree with you Emilie, as this is a critical time in their lives.The ones who need the moral support to calm their anger or lift them up with compassion take their bad behavior or low self-esteem into high school.

If I could give just one gift, I would give the gift of forgiveness and compassion. I know that technically that would count as 2 gifts, but they really go hand in hand. They are nearly two sides of the same coin. It is something that the world needs to learn more of.

The gift of treasuring our elderly, they were young once, I just wish everyone could relate to that and treat them with respect and kindness, after all, we are all heading in that direction
