Postcards for Inner City Kids
To help my students learn about geography we are collecting postcards from all 50 states and countries all over the world. If you would like to send us a postcard we would really appreciate it. On the postcard if you would tell about the food people enjoy in your area, monuments or attractions, weather, ect... Of course! Watch for one from New Mexico - what a great way that I can involve my daughter in 29 gifts -- when i get to round 2 we're going to do it together! But we'll send one off this weekend ...

I received the postcards from Billy's today!!! They were a great bunch of postcards, some were even vintage. I shared them with some of my students after school and they were VERY excited! Thanks very much!!!!

Thanks a lot everyone, the kids actually ask me every week if we got any more postcards. I am going to make them into a book at the end of the year so we can look back on them in years to come. It is a great learning experience and they really enjoy it. We made our own postcards earlier in the year with the theme "home is..." Can you tell I am an art teacher?????
