The Healing Circle:

We held a "Healing Circle" at the end of our last Meditation for the Enetrepreneurial Spirit class and for the Meditation for Health and Healing class. This Healing Circle method was taught to me by my dear friend, Helaine, who is a powerful multi-talented healer and energy worker through numerology, astrology and tarot, and with clairvoyant reading. I would like to share this powerful method of group healing with all of you:

Sit in a circle with 3 to 5 other people, all holding hands. After a few minutes to clear your minds, ground your energies and relax into your bodies, one person begins the circle by offering a question or a request to the circle. Every person in the circle holds the same thought, visualizes the same outcome as the request. When the receiving person feels the completion of the transmission of healing energy or thought, he or she squeezes the hand of the person to his/her left, and the next person's request is heard. And so on. Each person in turn receives the love and support of many minds and hearts tuned to the same vibration of thought.

We usually go around the circle two or three times, requesting for others as well as for ourselves.
Examples of what people ask for: A peaceful resolution to a dispute with a loved one (give their first name); A smooth transition from one job to another; Please help me hold a space of Prosperity for my life and business during the holidays (or help with my perceptions of scarcity); Please help me heal from cancer through chemo-therapy (or radiation or alternatives, or nothing); My mother (brother, child, friend...) needs support for her health (school, divorce, death of loved one...)

Note: This is not a time to tell long stories about a condition or circumstance. This is an opportunity to feel the focus of the circle upon a simple, direct request. It is an opportunity to be opened and redirected, to receive what you have asked for.

The final thought-holding is for peace or healing harmony for all beings. Imagine a whole room full of people helping you to hold a space for local and global peace!

Note: After the circle is complete, it is appropriate to speak about the condition or circumstance as if it is resolving in a favorable way. Resist the temptation to tell the old story in the same old way; re-frame your perception into a positive reflection of what the Universe, through the Circle, is delivering.

No special training or experience is necessary, just the focus of hearts and minds, willing to hold a space for another person to have what he or she wants and needs.
