The new logo is snazzy!
I had posted a comment earlier, but I was out of the house and so was using my phone, and I guess I accidentally pressed something that made my comment disappear. Just wanted to share that I have two 13-year old daughters, Kitty and Amelia, and that we're reading Cami's book and have just finished chapter 8 yesterday. Since it was the first day of the Christmas month, we decided to do our own gifts for the entire December. My stepdaughter, Kitty, had a hard skating practice last night when our coach scolded her in front of everyone; and so she made it her first gift to swallow her pride and make an earnest apology. My daughter, Amelia, had big plans of cleaning her room, but she ran out of time and could only fix her clothes drawers before bedtime as her day 1 gift. Me, I'm just thrilled that they're doing this. I want to add - my girls are hardworking, respectful and honest, but they need to care more for others and serve their interests less; they need to be weaned out of their self-centered perspective and realize that there is a world out there that they are responsible for and accountable to, and that this world can only be as wonderful as the contribution they make to its unfolding. I hope that through this month of giving, my daughters will finally "grow up," embrace the inter-connectedness of all of our lives and live consciously each day with generosity, appreciation and wisdom.
Love the new Logo! :o)
