I have an affinity toward Russian novels. I often joke that I must have been a Tsarista in my past life. I hope there are a few out there that enjoy this genre has much as I do. I am currently re-reading The Brothers Karamazov. This Dostoyevsky novel explores deep into debates of God, free will and morality. It is a spiritual drama of moral struggles concerning faith, doubt, reason and modern Russia. Considered one of the best works in literature of all time. If you have read or are reading this work let's chat.

Permalink Reply by Malinda on May 29, 2010 at 10:55pm Haven't read it yet, but it sounds like a good recommendation. The Russian Lit I've read dates to an earlier period, and like with most things I read, I prefer and tend to stick to Short Stories. Russia has no shortage of Short Stories - Dostoyevsky included!
