Vampire Books: Meg Cabot's Insatiable

I just finished reading Meg Cabot's Insatiable.  I had read The Princess Diaries when my  daughter (who was in middle school at the time) and I had a mother/daughter book club.

She is a very good author and I found Insatiable  much more humorous than The Twilight series.  Insatiable is actually considered an adult novel rather than a young adult novel but there is nothing in it that I would be concerned about letting a 13 year old girl read.  Meena, the heroine of the novel is a lot feistier, and funnier, as well as being a feminist than Bella.
