Follow the link and you'll get a really good idea of her fun writing style and great ideas.It's a non-fictional account of both Beak's building relationship with the Divine and some hints she thinks might help people, especially young women of her generation, connect with a Higher Power.
I have a funny memory about Stephen King. My older sister was reading Pet Semetary when I was really little. I was a big reader, so when I saw her new book I made a beeline straight for it. Of course, she grabbed it before my 2nd or 3rd grade hands could get a hold of it. She obviously thought it was inappropriate. ;)
I read more Stephen King in high school and college. My experience with The Shining reflected JennH's of Salem's Lot. I was sitting my bean bag in my room alone and it was getting late. My father didn't see a need to knock on my door when he needed something, so when he burst into the room to ask me a question, I literally jumped up 5 feet in the air.
