Hi Ashlyn
I'm new to blogging too but from reading other blogs I think you just write whatever you want to write. Obviously write about your gives but then go for it. Use it however you want. Some people use it to vent fears and frustrations, to pose questions (someone always answers), as a diary, to share give ideas. My (brief) experience is that writing about your gives always leads to some insight into myself and my life. Hope this helps and I look forward to reading your blogs. Ali xx
Well thank you for this Alison. I am reluctant to say what I give because I don't want to brag about it My preference is to do things quietly, though questions I would ask and read others doings as ideas then would come for the future that I hadn't thought of. As for blogging well I shall just have to give it a go. Where are you from? Ashlyn
I'm from just outside Tamworth in the Midlands. And please don't think of you writing about your gives as bragging...it's about sharing. Who knows that what you might write might help and inspire someone. And when I write about what I've done it encourages me to ask questions of myself and makes me realise things about myself that I didn't know. But everyone's experience is individual and you use the blog as to how it will most help you. Why not give it a try and if it feels uncomfortable well then you know it's not for you. What does anyone else in the group think?
Hi Alsion
Fair enough I guess you are right about the sharing with others of the giving. Unfortunately it can't be money as I am not working at this time. It has been good fun though caring for Roo my grandson just 1, whilst his Mum has been working this 3 days as the poor little mite has conjunctivitis, highly contagious, yet doesn't stop his humour, sense of fun and play. I am about an hour away from you down the M5 in Herefordshire which has seen a good fall of snow. I like what you put about asking questions of oneself and inspiration received from others. Thank you. Ashlyn
Hi, I was just looking through the groups thinking it would be nice to have a UK group, and found you :-)
I joined the site yesterday so am on day 2 of my giving challenge/adventure.
I live in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
Good to meet you all here.
Have a wonderful weekend, we have great weather forecasts for our area so will be spending as much time as possible in my garden.
Happy Wishes
