Cami Walker - 29 Gifts Founder I'm a writer, artist and healer who lives in Los Angeles, California. I worked in advertising for "the big boys" for a long time, helping companies who already have millions of dollars make millions more. After about 15 years of focusing on making money for these giants, I found myself feeling empty, unfulfilled and struggling with a serious health condition (Multiple Sclerosis) that required I stop living my over-driven lifestyle. Now my focus is on helping build companies and community projects that are spiritually-centered and wildly profitable on all levels. I created the 29-Day Giving Challenge to encourage my friends, family, clients and hopefully many strangers to give back to our communities--and as a way to help me heal. I serve as the "chief evangelist" for our movement by doing press interviews, motivational speaking engagements, writing content for our site and guest writing on other websites as well. These days, I am also busy finishing up the 29 Gifts book, "29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life" which will be released October 6, 2009. You can pre-order the book now and save 32% of the $19.95 cover price now! |

Mbali Creazzo - 29 Gifts Spiritual Advisor I am a medicine woman in the West African Dagara Tradition, teacher, healer, writer and diviner. The 29 Day Giving Challenge is a ritual that originated from the medicine work that I embarked on. A powerful ritual when we feel we are living in scarcity, a dis-ease of modernity. The messages we receive on a daily basis especially in the USA are that we are not enough. Giving of any kind, taking an action begins the process of change, and moves us to remember that we are part of a much greater universe. I have thirty years experience in the Healing Arts as a Holistic Health Educator, Group Facilitator and Traditional Practitioner and have taught and practiced in Europe, London and the USA. For six years I worked in a major medical establishment in San Francisco, where I was core in the structure and development of their Integrative Medicine and Spirituality program. I combine Integrative Medicine, traditional practices and and spiritual guidance to work with the whole body in a unique way. I followed the call of the ancestors to learn the art of Cowrie Shell Divining . Today I facilitate retreats, work one and one and travel around the country by invitation to perform in Divination Salons and spread my work. I am the medicine woman who originally gave the "29 Gifts Prescription" to our founder, Cami Walker. I provide spiritual guidance to 29 Gifts members by posting suggestions for insightful reflection about a giving philosophy on our community forum. These may include rituals or simple ideas about giving. I also do one-on-one sessions called Divinations where some members have found powerful insights for their healing journey. These are done over the phone. I sell one-of-a-kind Medicine Necklaces. Their stones carry wonderful healing qualities. I also provide Spiritual Guidance Sessions. If you are feeling stuck, let me guide you through the issues you may be experiencing by scheduling a 50 minute session. |
| Angel Stork - 29 Gifts Educator I'm late boomer, a sprung chicken, an avid procrastinator who does 60mph in her armchair. Still trying to figure out what to be when I grow up, realizing that I won't so it's irrelevant. I am never bored and do not understand how some folks make an occupation of it. Seldom really down or angry for the same reason. Hey, I'm busy in here, and continually reaching inside for more insight, humor, bs, courage and poetry. I love friends, conversation, language and it's ironic origins, good stories, ocean, birds, all sciences, physics and what used to be known as metaphysics but now is so close to science the scientists are embarrassed to not be a part of it. I am working with Cami to develop a curriculum for meditation classes to help the 29 Gifts Community raise their collective vibration. We will begin teaching classes in September 2009. |

Erin Monahan - 29 Gifts Community Manager I'm mother to five amazing little people, wife to an incredible man, and a techy-nerd. I have spent 10 yrs teaching myself how to build websites and computer graphics; the Universe has spent a lifetime on teaching me how to use my talents in ways that benefit others. Through life's tragic events, I've learned enough to know that living a life of conscientious service is the only way to survive, and the most fulfilling way to thrive. That's why I feel so blessed to have discovered 29 Gifts, and to have been asked to take an active part in helping it grow! Contact me for questions about how to use our website, if your company would like to sponsor a giveaway on our site or if you have a cause you'd like to nominate as one of our featured causes. I handle all of the day-to-day operations at 29Gifts, so I'm a good first stop for questions of almost any kind. |
