Cami Walker - 29 Gifts Founder
I'm a writer, artist and healer. I worked in advertising for "the big boys" for a long time, helping companies who already have millions of dollars make millions more. After about 15 years of focusing on making money for these giants, I found myself feeling empty, unfulfilled and struggling with a serious health condition (Multiple Sclerosis) that required I stop living my over-driven lifestyle. Now my focus is on helping build companies and community projects that are spiritually-centered and wildly profitable on all levels. I created the 29-Day Giving Challenge to encourage my friends, family, clients and hopefully many strangers to give back to our communities--and as a way to help me heal.

I serve as the "chief evangelist" for our movement by doing press interviews, motivational speaking engagements, writing content for our site and guest writing on other websites as well. My New York Times Best-Selling book, "29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life" is now available in paperback.

Deb Joliff- 29 Gifts Community Manager
I am Deb Jolliff and I have been on my giving journey for 27 months now. I love this movement and all it stands for. I am thankful for all the lovely people I have been blessed with making friends with and taking a journey with. Thanks to Cami my life has changed in so many ways~ I came here a broken person with many health issues. I still have some issues but am in a better place now. I have changed my life and my whole being by giving and doing for others.

I believe that we all are capable of making this world a far better place by focusing on others and their needs and not our own. We can and are changing this world one gift and kindness at a time. I am grateful to have found the book, read it, changed my life and touched many along my journey. I will continue to live this way and am very blessed to be where I am today as Community Manager for this fabulous movement and for Cami.
I now know that by doing for others in their time of need that I am helping them in more ways than one. I dedicate my life to this and will continue on this giving journey for the rest of my life! May you all be blessed and know that you are a GIFT!

Elly Rose – 29 Gifts Tech Support

I have always had fragile health.  Looking back over my life I have always been dealing with one crisis or another.  I look for humor and good in every situation.  I find peace in moving forward no matter the circumstances.  When I found 29 Day Gift Challenge in September of 2008 I felt it would help me to continue to look outside of myself.  I don’t like to whine or complain, but I do like to share stories and continue to keep moving forward.  This challenge has given me a direction and a voice. 

I have no technical training, but I am observant and even though I am a baby boomer, which means that I am old, I can still learn new tricks.  So, since I started on this site, I have watched and learned.  Now I can share some of this knowledge with members of this site.  If I don’t know the answer, I will research it.  Then I will be able to share that information too.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  My family is my main focus.   My husband and I are Reiki Master/Teachers.  We love to share this energy with all who ask.  I love being a Child of the Universe.

Sharon Diehl- 29 Gifts Ambassador
Hey! I am Sharon from Woodstock, GA. I am a native of Atlanta. I was struggling with depression when I joined 29 Gifts. I was number 433 to join and it changed my life! I was in my 3rd round of 29 days when miracles started happening in my life and I have become a transformed person!

I am a woman in recovery from drugs and alcohol for the last 20years. I was working in the Alternative Medicine field when God shifted my life for me to become ready to be a full time Granny/Nanny. I still keep my 8-year-old grandson three days a week and work at home as a leather artist.

I traveled to California and was able to meet Cami-one of the miracles in my 1st year! Another miracle was being in California a 2nd time, in a city for only one day on exactly the one day a month M’bali was in town for shopping!

I prayed and through 29 Gifts, was able to go to South Africa and cross paths yet again with M’bali, as well as deliver 126 hand made quilts to a school of children and volunteer there as well.

I started the groups, Sewing Hope, Metro Atlanta Living by Giving, Quote of the Week, and enjoy participating in the Poetry group regularly. I am the Site Ambassador now. I arrange the details and assist Cami when she has speaking engagements.

Carol Walker - 29 Gifts Boutique Manager
I am Carol Walker, mother of Cami Walker, and the Boutique Manager. I became interested in the 29 Day Giving Challenge originally because my daughter was the founder. However my interest soon blossomed into much more as I became involved in the 29 Days of Giving. I am a natural giver, I have spent my life taking care of everyone around me, so it was a ntaural extention of myself and my faith to expand that giving to include the 29 Gifts idea. I am a mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 2 and have been married to my husband for 41 years, my family and friends are a very important part of my life.

I taught Kindergarten for 33 years and retired 3 years ago. Teaching and working with children remain an importrant part of my life, I do the childrens sermon at my church and have helped in my grandson's kindergarten class this past year. I believe that we must teach the children tolerance and love if we are to change the world.

Angel Stork - 29 Gifts Educator
I'm late boomer, a sprung chicken, an avid procrastinator who does 60mph in her armchair. Still trying to figure out what to be when I grow up, realizing that I won't so it's irrelevant.

I am never bored and do not understand how some folks make an occupation of it. Seldom really down or angry for the same reason. Hey, I'm busy in here, and continually reaching inside for more insight, humor, bs, courage and poetry. I love friends, conversation, language and its ironic origins, good stories, ocean, birds, all sciences, physics and what used to be known as metaphysics but now is so close to science the scientists are embarrassed to not be a part of it.

I am working with Cami to develop a curriculum for meditation classes to help the 29 Gifts Community raise their collective vibration.

Eve Wong - 29 Gifts Designer
As part of my 29 Gifts cycle in the spring of 2008, I gifted the branding and design, and built the original website (which has since been wholly migrated to the Ning platform). I am behind what you see as far as the look, feel, and motifs for the Challenge.

I am currently on partial sabbatical from web development and design activities to pursue a Ph.D. in Anthropology as a Foreign Language and Area Studies fellow at Boston University. I study urban problems (poverty, gangs, crime, and conflict) as mediated and mitigated through the arts, media, music, and aesthetics of urban youth in South Africa. I have lived in South Africa twice. Once after I began the Giving Challenge as a volunteer teacher and mentor in Cape Town, and once throughout urban and rural KwaZulu-Natal as a Fulbright fellow studying Zulu language, linguistics and culture. I speak Xhosa and Zulu. Beginning this winter I will also begin learning Afrikaans.

I have just finished the production of a DVD educating high school and middle school kids on Africa through the African Studies Center's Outreach Program at Boston University.
