Today was a very hard day for me being the anniversary of the attack.

I decided I was going to remain happy & celebrate making it a year since the event & celebrate all the accomplishments I had achieve since then instead of mope & do the woe as me thing. Nothing can take back those moments or change the past. It happened. It changed me & there is nothing I can do but to move on.

The gift of the day was to ACTUALLY open my change purse & deposit a handful of change into the red kettle beside the bell ringer instead of just being annoyed that they were there blocking the door.

I admit it my typical response is just to be annoyed. But why? Someone is volunteering - in the cold - for helping others. They have to ring AND HEAR that bell all day. All for what? maybe 1 in 10 people to actually acknowledge they are there?

Just got the news that my co-worker's wife had their baby last night.

Easy give today.

Thankfully I can send them a gift from my desk! I sent over a cute wreath with blue accents along with a stuffed blue puppy to help welcome lil Ryan into this world. Hoping to stop by to see them soon but I also know they need rest & family time. So as a co-worker I don't want to overwhelm them with yet another interruption.

Easy give today.

While picking up breakfast I noticed that the cinnamon raisin biscuits were also sold in packs of 6. Since we have one guy who is off work this week, it was too coincidentatl not to get the 6 biscuits for the 6 of us working this week.

So I did.

& BOY did those things go quick!

Never underestimate a bunch of guys' stomachs & sweets! I probably should have gotten 2 packs.
