Day Twelve.

I stood at the display of Belgian Chocolates today, on sale at Costco for only $13.99 for a whopping three pounds of perfection. Should I or shouldn't I? I was only there to buy a dozen large cans of string beans for a church Christmas dinner.

I did.

When 3 pm rolled around and I'd worked my fingers off at the computer all day, I excitedly opened the exquisitely wrapped box, pulled the bow on the gold ribbon and lifted the lid. Belgian bliss awaited me…

Nothing too exciting for Days Nine and Ten...and I was none too creative, either.

On Day Nine I went to bed early and read...a rare treat.

On day six I took a long hot bath. It was cold outside and the wind had been blowing all day long; I just hadn't been able to warm up. Usually while soaking I read, but not this time. I allowed myself to snooze and it was pure Heaven.

I arrogantly thought I'd have no problem with this...I like to pamper myself quite a lot, after all...but how very wrong I was.
