I am really sorry for you daughter, I am sending her Light and Love to heal her young heart. She is very blessed that she has a mum who is a good listener. May the Light and the Love of the World help you both in this sad moment, that will pass.

Why I'm choosing to give:
Because giving makes me feel happy, it's good to make someone smile. If you make someone happy you are happy. I've been a giving human being all my life from giving away toys as a toddler to give time, books, money as an adult. I believe that we live in a fantastic moment in time in which we should count our blessings everyday and realise that in fact we own everything meaning that as a big human family we are everything belongs to everyone. Sharing what we have should be as natural as receiving, so keeping the flow is my main aim.
What I'd most like to receive:
Anything that the Universe knows will help my mission on Earth. I have been blessed with many things at the right time so I trust the Universe and beloved Mother/Father God to give me what they think it's right to keep my family and my extended world wide family happy.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?

It works, it really does work

It works, it really does work. Only now I was able to sit down and think about all the things that happened in the last 5 weeks. I had a very nasty ( but a great moment of learning) depressive episode during Christmas. I went as down as anyone can imagine to the point of knowing that was not me, and that I wanted my "old me" back. I did all the tricks possible, slept for hours and hours, read inspirational quotes and books, went out for walks, and nothing was working. Everything seemed dark aContinue

Day 11 - 29 Days of Giving Challenge

Family is still around they completly took over my home, I have two options get ready upset to see the house completely messy and upside down or practice the art of detachment and and patience. During the morning we visited a lovely city just 1 hour away from the place where I live. In spite of the weather we had a good time with 3 kids aged from 2 to 7 the smaller ones wanting different things, running away from us, or shouting again the art of patience was put into practice. On the way back ho… Continue

Day 10 - 29 Days of Giving Challenge

Had my brother-in-law visiting with two little ones, and they made me think that some times the gift of patience is a big gift. Not so much with the children but specially with the adults that sometimes can be inflexible and you need a lot of patience for example when someone decides that no matter what wants a football and I had to look for one. In the way I saw some street musicians and gave them some change and a smile card so at least looking for a football just out of the blue helped me wit… Continue

Day 10 - 29 Days of Giving Challenge

Today I had a very busy day as I do voluntary work for my daughter's school and spent most of the morning there in meetings with the new ead teacher and the chair of governors I think that for today that will be my giving. I hardly had time to seat and rest all day. I also convinced my 16 years old god-daughter to do a 29 giving Challenge :)

Hi Ana! I was just reading your profile and saw you were born in Lisbon. I am a first generation American but my parents were born in Lisbon and they moved back to Portugal 3 years ago. I still live in the States. I used to spend every summer in Portugal with my grandparents as a child, but unfortunately now don't get back very often. I hope you are enjoying your giving journey! I love your profile picture also, so cute!
