21, 22, 23, 24, and today day 25
Things have been a bit stressful for me for the past week but I'm back. Day 21 my Dad drove out for my son's basketball game so I took us out to lunch. Day 22 lot's more snow. My 21 year old son is supposed to take care of the snow and lawn but he has been so busy with lab's and school work that I paid a neighbor kid to take care of the massive snow. 18 and 19
Day 18 I drove 2 hours to pick up my friend and bring her to spend the night at my house for a girls night which was very needed. She is afraid to drive on the highway because she was in an accident 25 years ago. She found out that she has a lung disease and she may not have long to live. We have known each other for 16 years. This has made me want to hug my children and not let them go.. Day 19 I drove 2 hours to drop he back at home. We got to have fun and get our minds off of our serious…See More

day 16- Cleaning house can be a gift to other people- I donated a couple bags of clothes to the Salvation Army. And day 17 I gave some books to a friend. I don't know why I hold on to so many books- I just don't want to get rid of them. Well instead of collecting dust at my house someone else can enjoy and pass on. See More

Gave an extra large tip to a waitress today. It seems as if people have been nicer to me then normal since I have been a part of the giving challenge. Strangers have been saying hi and the people I come in contact with seem nicer. It really makes a difference when people are nice. See More

Days 11, 12, 13, and 14
Day 11 I stayed for my 9 year old son's basketball practice when I should have been on the couch because of back pain- he wanted me to be there to see him practice. He is getting much better in a very short time. He has a great coach. Day 12 Friday my ex husband came to pick up our son and I was more talkative with him and gave him a coupon for a free personal pizza to use while he had our son. For me some of the best gifts I can give to my 21 year old son is to be quiet. It is hard... I'm sure they appreciate it sometimes.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I remember receiving some maternity clothes when I was pregnant. It was great gift because I did not want to spend any money on clothes for Good Luck to you.

Today my gift was for my 9 year old. I took him to basketball practice and finally put air in his basket ball. He had been asking me to fill his ball for 2 weeks and I kept forgetting about it. So he was pleasantly surprised.See More

- Why I'm choosing to give:
- My health is very poor- I have 2 herniated discs, spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and with all that comes depression. I have consciously given in the past and seen results. After reading the book I see that it could just be something small- which I think I can handle. I can't work and have to lay down a lot so I sometimes feel useless. Recognizing my giving (no matter how small) I think will help me with that feeling.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- That shift in consciousness Cami spoke of. A way to not focus on myself and my pain constantly. And of course an income.

- I am a mother of two boys- 21 and 9. I used to be very active before my back and health problems. I am divorced. I like my aquarium and I have one lazy cat.
