This challenge is challenging!
This is day 8 for me and I have found it challenging. First of all, I offended someone by inviting them to join the challenge, she thought I was being insensitive to her situation. Secondly, I haven't given something every day, but I've given more than one thing on other days - does that count? - I think we all expereince more joy, fulfillment and a feeling of connectedness when we focus on giving.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would love to have a dynamite fundraising volunteer and an amazing volunteer publicist for my 501 ( c ) 3, Games for Life so that we can raise $50,000 to donate the educational board game, Game for the World, to HIV.AIDS agencies and to schools around the world.

- About me:
- I am a Canadian, living in Tucson, AZ, married to an English man, Alan. We met in South Africa and lived there for 10 years. I have a company which develops and distributes the trust and relationship-building game, Know Me, which is used worldwide.
I developed an educational board game on HIV/AIDS, Game for the World and launched it at the International AIDS conference in Mexico City in 2008. We had the game translated into 6 languages: French, Spanish, Swahili, Zulu, Xhosa and Afrikaans and gave 100 games away to organizations in 32 countries, Game for the World was used this year in Mexico at the national AIDS conference, at a Violence Against Women campaign and at a Human Rights conference. Two hundred copies of the game are going to be used in all 32 states in Mexico.
Alan and I formed a 501 ( c )3, Games for Life to raise $50,000 so that we can donate games to organizations around the world. We recently received a Business Opportunity Grant from British Airways, which will allow us to visit many countries this year and to ship games to them. We are also going to use the grant to exhibit Game for the World at the International AIDS conference in Vienna in 2010!
