Day 26

Happy Valentine's Day. What a great day for giving. Tim and I celebrated on Friday night with skating and a bite to eat at a new restaurant. Today, we had his parents over for dinner to celebrate his mom's birthday. Day 25

Yesterday, I was intentional about giving compliments throughout my day--to the service guy who fixed my car, to two of my friends, to my husband and to both of my sons. Today is my final day of the giving challenge and I'm ready for round 2. I have experienced many positive changes and am so grateful that I am seeing the world differently and channeling my energy into how I can best contribute each day in meaningful ways. Today I am sending a donation to a woman's monastery. I received their newsletter yesterday and haven't supported their mission in awhile. I knew immediately it would be my gift for today. I am stunned that tomorrow is my 29th day--this has gone incredibly fast. I've really learned so much--especially when scarcity looms and I put myself in the path of reaching for abundance---ooo sometimes it is so difficult. Didn't realize the strength of my inner tightwad. Yesterday I was feeling the scarcity as I drove my sons and a friend for a day of skiing.
