The gift of patience - Day 14 (Sep 30)
I am so tired (not having slept for more than 2 hours per day in the last five days because of my sick baby Jesse). I've noticed that my patience was wearing thin as a result, but I decided to persevere and be EXTRA PATIENT with everyone around me……we don’t all need to be as stressed as I am right now! :)

The Gift of Sincere Gratitude - Day 13

Day 13 and all i could give over the last three days is the GIFT OF GRATITUDE not only to the Universe but especially to the staff at the Canberra Hospital (in particular to Frances) for looking after my baby so well for the last three days while they have been trying to diagnose his problem. Needless to say, it has been a very worrying time but all is ok now. Well, it turned out my baby Jesse was very sick and the antibiotics the Dr gave him didn't seem to make much difference, so it was back to the Dr 24 hours later, who sent us straight to the hospital. We have just spent 3 days in hospital while Jesse was undergoing a range of tests re his breathing difficulties and funny coloured rash which developed all over his body! My heart literally sank when the paediatrician said it could be meningococcal or meningitis. Thank goodness it turned out to be… Continue

My baby has not slept well for the last two nights and therefor, my hours of rest were also very limited. He is not his usual self and I can tell he is getting sick. I took him to the Dr and he has given him some antibiotics and said he has a throat infection. A mother can usually tell when her baby is not well and I am blessed to have a sixth sense about this (as most mums do) ! :)

The gift of Musical Appreciation!
On my 10th day of giving a busker unknown to me
Was playing his guitar
Ever so nicely, so I gave him a $5 note
Today I came across a busker outside the local Mall who was playing his guitar and singing. The lunch time crowds were rushing past, with the ocassional person tossing a few coins into the busker's hat and hurrying off. I took the time to stop, listen and appreciate his music and then I gave him $5 and thanked him for sharing… Continue

I am from Woodstock, GA, USA.
I am on day 96 here, and found this to be a great new way of life. I am not stopping with 29 days, obviously, and on round 4 now. If you have any questions, just let mew know, I can help around the site. Make sure you blog every day what goes out, what blessings come in and how you feel. It works when you work it. I give smiles, hugs and compliments when that is all I have, and it has been a very interesting journey. I have had the privilege this week of coming to california, and will be going home tomorrow.
