- Why I'm choosing to give:
- When I was 17 years old I was given a letter in my family mailbox with $2000 in it with a note that said..."Use this for college." With it was the message " If you are ever in the position to do something for someone be it of your time or money do it without expecting anything in return. I then "officially signed on" to a lifetime challege to give back in any way I could. I have been "BUMPING IT UP! " for some 32 years now. I figured out my benefactor I figured out some years later was a man named BUMP! Thus with the help of riends we are going to try to encourage everyone in the world to BUMP IT UP! November 2 -8, 2009. Lets begin now and forever more. Hooray for the 29 day challege! Great website!

Something i have been doing for years and did a couple of times 2day is after a great customer service experience I give the service person a gift card worth $5 and thank them for their great service! we seem many times to complain about poor service, but forget to reward good or great service by telling their manager or filling out a comment form for them or really shock them with a gift card. i probably give out several hundred of these a year. hopefully when they encounter a customer having… Continue

Last minute last nite I noticed a box at the front door that arrived early! It was a new shipment of BUMP IT UP! wristbands so I included one for ech of the soldiers so they would know they represent the very essence of giving of oneself!

2nite i addressed 116 personalized Christmas cards to our soldiers in Iraq in conjunction with B98.5 here in atlanta! what a great way to start the season of giving by letting those who help make the world a better place know that we care!
