Last night I helped out my friend with ticket sales.  There were three events going on at once, and two were in the performing arts center, and one was in a different location on campus.  I took care of the ticket sales in the remote location.  It's not a hard job, and it helps her out a lot, and I get to see some of my colleagues as well.  When I'm not busy, we just chit-chat.  I enjoy doing it and she is very appreciative.  

I almost forgot to write about another "give" that happened this past weekend.  I belong to a book swapping site that is collecting book credits from members for elementary school libraries, so I donated a few of my credits.  This enables the libraries to use the book credits to order books from the swapping site.  

On Saturday I had a bit of shopping to do, and saw a man standing on the corner with a sign.  I was waiting for the light to turn green, and when it did, I moved up to where he was standing and stopped long enough to hand him some money out the window.  He was very thankful (although I don't know how the people behind me felt as I held up traffic for a bit!).  

Then I did some online shopping, and had a chance to add a small donation to my order, which I did.  So while I shopped  this…

I haven't kept up my blog here, but today I thought I'd post.  

On Friday, I dropped off a bag of stuff for the GoodWill, which was mostly books and clothes.  It was nice to get the clutter out of the way and now someone else can use it.
