What is with me....snow is gone, life is back to normal and I can't find 5 minutes to blog my gifts? Dang! Here they are for the last little bit!
Day 14 - Went out for dinner with some great women and bought one of my friends dinner that I don't get to see very often. It was nice to sit next to her and catch up!

I'm a Food Network junkie! I've also been at home all week due to the weather and the impassible roads. Those two things can be a deadly combination. Especially when you have a husband that is on a diet! I was watching Paula Deen the other day and she was making her Gooey Toffee Butter Cakes. If you haven't had them......to die for! I had all the ingredients. I had all the time in the world. My only problem now is, if I make them, I'll eat them all.

On January 1st my husband, like may others, started a diet. He's had much success on Weight Watchers, so we thought that was the best way to go. It's probably good for me too. While I don't need to lose weight, I have terrible eating habits. WW is a terrific way of life and gives you the tools to eat very healthy. Yesterday was day three of our weather "situation" here in Georgia. Most everything, with the exception of a few stores, gas stations, etc are still closed. Most of our problem now is ice. BUT - yesterday it was so blasted cold. The wind was blowing and the temp never got out of the twenties.....solidifying the ice. While 20 degrees isn't too bad, in Georgia it's a pretty humid cold which is bone chilling. Needless to say, we all have cabin fever! Yesterday I went to Bed, Bath and…
