So for my Day One give, I picked up a gift to give to our Adopt-a-Family that we are doing at work. One of the ideas given for one of the people we are buying for was whole bean coffee. Well, as much as I like giving coffee - this was right down my alley. I picked up a gift package that had three different kinds in it, so not only will he get the requested gift of coffee beans, but three really great kinds. I can't wait until we deliver their gifts!

I feel like I am still giving daily but it is not always conscious giving. And this Challenge deserves to be held with reverence and done with intention. There have been a couple days in the last week where I, upon getting to the end of my day, had to think about what my Give was for the day and found myself wondering if I could count something that I really didn't count at the time. So with renewed intention and focus...I begin again. Today is Day One. ♥

I have been not so great about blogging about my giving activity the past week, nevertheless I have still been giving. Breakfast for a homeless man that I always walk by on my way to work, flowers for my Mom, an email to a friend I haven't seen in over a year (and plans to meet soon), a small donation to Operation Smiley just to name a few. It has been difficult the last couple days to remember to give as I have been distracted by being ill. So today, I decided that my gift would be my intention during meditation. I have a few friends who have family members who have recently passed away or our quite ill. It is my intention today to keep those people in my prayers and meditation tonight, sending peace their way.
