When my daughter, Cami, (yes I am Cami's mom), first told me about the 29 Day Giving Challenge, I was immediately interested. However I really didn't count on it affecting my life as it has. I am naturally a caregiver type of personality so I give all the time, however much of the time I wasn't thinking about what I was doing. I have a friend who is going on a mission trip this summer, she has her money but some of the others do not have all of theirs. They also need materials for their trip, they will be directing Bible School for the children in the places they will be going. I sent her a check to add to their fund.

It has taken me awhile to get back to post my last two days of giving. Day 28 I donated to my churches youth group. They are going on a mission trip this summer and needed more support.

I finished my letter to my aunt and included pictures of the grandkids. I also sent some papers that Cami and Mark need and enclosed a small journal as a gift to Cami.

I helped with a shower for a friend who had a baby.



As I have looked back at the past week--I really began to realize that I really had hit a wall in my giving, I mentioned it earlier, but thought I had gotten past it. I preach and preach to my kids to "Let go and let God" when they have problems and then I do just the opposite. I had to have a diagonistic mamogram done this week and next Monday I have to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I have gotten so wrapped up in those personal… Continue
