Day One

I'm beginning to wonder if this should only be a 29-day challenge. I'm already thinking way ahead of myself... Let me focus on this one day at a time.
Day one began with what I think is on everyone's mind: lists, holidays, debt, those very old carrots in the back of the refrigerator and money. But oddly enough, I don't think any of these things constitute as a gift. I check my account balance online and there isn't much to go with there either.
