wanted to comment on your recent give.
I had the same question run through my mind after giving to a homeless person. Then someone shared something with me that made sense. They said " give if that is what your heart says to do. Whatever the person does with it is on them". In other words, your gave with a loving heart. If the receiver uses it to feed his/her addiction, they have to answer for it themselves. Since that experience, I rarely give money anymore. I take the time to get them food instead if I'm near a fast food place.
Have peace in your heart knowing that you gave because you wanted to help.
