My mother, the incredible PattiB, (if you have yet to read her blog you should) inspired me to start up my 29Gifts blogging once more. I love this website, it can uplift anyone, anytime. Today, I took my teachers daughter to our sorority house for lunch since I know my professor is swamped with stuff to do. The gift of communication is sooooooooo valuable! We never realize how much it can mean to someone until we have completely screwed up a relationship or friendship. I don't really consider this a gift because it's something we should do as human beings, as classy individuals. I introduced myself to the girl sitting next to me in our big lecture class. I was sitting with all my sorority sisters and as much as I hate stereotypes about greek life, I try to stray away and make others realize that…See More

Had breakfast with my best friend and her boyfriend. Vacuumed the house for my mom but probably my gift was having a good time on my date last night. I easily could have just said no because we were going to the monster truck show and we ate fish (which I usually don't like) so I put on my happy pants and enjoyed myself and reallly ended up enjoying my time with the guy. Last night went to OKC with my mom. Had dinner with some family friends and then this morning had the opportunity to see a friend before she left for a semester at sea. It was a day to learn about her, to talk about what she's excited for and what she's nervous for. today I went to saks with my grammy to get her makeup done. we had a great time and went to lunch with my papajoe! it was a good time and plus she shared some juicy family gossip. okay that was totally uncalled for but sh was really funny and i got to see a side of her i don't usually see.

The first day of classes for the semester! I really looked people in the eye and ran into old friends on the way back to and fro class. It is so refreshing to see a friendly face and actually have a conversation with the person. When I got frustrated today when paying my tuition, I just fixed my tone of my voice and killed 'em with kindness! Peace!
