I gave three gifts today:A Celtic Christmas CD for a co-worker. She loved it and she LOVED the 29gifts gift card that went with it!I gave a writing book that I am not using anymore to a client who is working on writing a memoir.And I gave some tea to the client I didn't graciously bring a meal to yesterday.For me, it was an overwhelming day, and I feel that I didn't have time to appreciate any of the people who came in to eat. - To remind myself of the abundance in my own life.

- There is nothing I need, but I am always grateful for donations toward our Meals on Wheels program. It is a very underfunded and needed program, particularly in our area which is financially depressed even in the best of times.
Selfishly, some day, I would like to hold a copy of my published novel.

- I have been happily married for six years to the kindest and funniest man in the world.
I manage Meals on Wheels and run a small farm. I am a poet and a writer who just completed the National Novel Writing Challenge. I love to read and garden and raise honeybees and other little critters.
I am currently taking classes for my MS in Holistic Nutrition and I hope to be done...some day.

Today, already, I have given a gift. I started my husband's car for him. He had forgotten his keys in the house when we went out the feed the barnyard, so I grabbed mine and started his car for him.
I like to give randomly and wait for something to present itself to me, but I usually don't think of it as a gift until afterwards and so it doesn't feel as though it is conscious giving. So, I am enjoying this challenge, thus far, on the days I plan my gifts out for the day. It feels… Continue

Day Seven

Today I wrote out a card for my sister. It has very cool herbs on it and honeybees...we both keep honeybees. My husband tells me it doesn't count for today, because I won't mail it until tomorrow. He likes to stress me out that way!
I also made popcorn at work and shared it with everyone! Yum. Lots of butter. Lots of salt. Mmmmm. Mmmmm.
My co-worker I have the paperwhites too still hasn't realized it was me...tee hee.

Earlier in Evening: I have not given a gift yet today.
Later in Evening: I now have given my gift. I gave my cousin's wife my pregnancy books that I've never needed. Figured they would do someone better good who's actually pregnant that just sitting on my book shelves collecting dust. Don't know if she'll read them....but I gave them anyway.

Elly Rose-Tech Support said… - I am taking a small break in blogging, but I will start again on January 11th. My husband starts back to school, and I want to do a very mindful round. It just felt like a good time to start. I have completed 15 rounds. When Cami's book came out and I finally got to read it I felt it was time to try to be more mindful.. I have continued with my giving, Paul and I discuss our gives for each day. Thanks for asking about my blogs.
