Day 6: Gotta love Public Transportation

Posted on September 15, 2008 at 8:21pm 1 Comment

Today Coming home from work on the BART Train I gave up a seat three times once to an older gentalmen, once to a lady with a child, and once to an older lady. useally I didn't take the time to look for someone who needs a seat.

Day 5: The Restaurant

Posted on September 15, 2008 at 8:10pm 0 Comments

I work in the banquet department of a large hotel in downtown San Francisco, and one of the managers that works in the Restaurant had to take three months off to care for his mother. I gave up my Sunday to help cover his shift. Ok ya its just a Sunday, except that this is one of only two Sundays that it is guaranteed that My football team, The Kansas City Chiefs, will be broadcast on TV in the bay area.

Day 4: The long Road Home

Posted on September 15, 2008 at 8:00pm 0 Comments

We just recently moved out of San Francisco. We now live about an hour away.On Saturday we drove in to go to dinner with some friends. My wife Jen will typicaly be the more responsible of the two of us and hold off on the drinking. This time was my turn to give her the freedom to indulge a little and not worry about the long drive home.

Day 3: ill comunication

Posted on September 12, 2008 at 7:50pm 1 Comment

The Reason my wife and I were drawn to this site is because of a artical in the San Fancisco Chronical, about Cami's struggels with MS. My mom was diagnosed with MS as well 6 years ago, Lately her health has gotten worse. yesterday I called her and she was having a difficult day, one thing that always cheers her up is to be around the grandkids, this dosen't happen much since she lives in Kansas and we live in California. So we did the next best thing and sent her a vedio mail of the kids.

Day 2: Yes Isabel you have a father

Posted on September 11, 2008 at 8:22pm 0 Comments

So Work has been very busy and I've been working from 5am to 8pm for the last three days. It occured to me that I had not seen my daughter Isabel for these last three days. So I called in to work and told them I would be late because I needed to bike my daughter to school. This was a big for me because I tend to feel really guilty about not being at work when its busy.
