Why I'm choosing to give:
I am choosing to give because I believe in the law of attraction. I have been withdrawn into my own self pity for the past several months not realizing that because I have secluded myself from the world- I was actually making my own circiumstances worse. I am a healer and a giver but every now and then even someone like me goes through hard times. I believe that this 29 day challenge has been put in my path for a reason! This is the answer to putting balance back into the Universe! Thank you Cami Walker!
What I'd most like to receive:
I would most like to receive balance. There is all sorts of imbalance in the universe and in our own bodies that cause illness, depression, and disease. I believe what goes around comes around and if you send out "good" you will get good back! I think it's when you stop "giving" or "sending out" a part of yourself- the Universe gets the message that you do not want to participate and therefore nothing comes your way.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
From an e-mail that Phylameana lila Desy sent me
About me:
My name is Chrissy. I live in Rochester, NY. I am engaged to be married for the second time. I have found my soul mate. I am going to be 40 years old soon. I am a mom of 3 wonderful children. I am a certified herbalist, reiki practitioner, and professional psychic. I have been going through some pretty tough times lately and just received this e-mail TODAY about the 29 gifts challenge. I don't believe in cooincidence. Everything happens for a reason. I believe this challenge crossed my path for a purpose and I am so excited to try it! I can't wait to report the change that it made in my life when I'm done! :-)

Hi,Chrissy. I hope that you come and have a look at the blogs occasionally! Did the challenge make a difference in your life? I hope that it did and that you are finding continued blessings. I'm on a bit of a downer right now and I know that if I get myself back on track again with 29gifts I'll be a whole lot better. Wishing you joy.

CAUSE OF THE MONTH: This month we're supporting fellow 29Giver and breast cancer survivor, Elysia Skye. Elysia really needs our help to raise funds for a surgery her insurance won't cover. Read Elysia's story here. Donate to her surgery fund today if you can and please spread the word about her cause to anyone you think might help.

Good giving!

P.S. Don't miss our cool downloadable gift card and handy 29-Day Giving Calendar, which helps you keep track of your gifts.

P.P.S. The 29 Gifts book is now officially in the works and we're looking for 29 amazing giving stories from community members to include. Click here for details on how to submit one of your stories for publication.
