- I have been through some tough times lately. I saw the book advertised a few weeks ago and I read as much as the website would allow me to. Then I have just been thinking about it. I agree that when you make an effort to give you are more grateful for what you have.

Well here I go again!!!! It felt so great the first month that I have decided to keep going.
Day 1 - 1/20/11
Today I bought lunch for the new lady that is working with us. I had a phone call that I was dreading and think I have lost some financial aid that I am receiving. While I truely believe that if I did loose it that it is just an indicator of the great things that the Lord has in store for me, for a few weeks it will be an adjustment. I worked late and then…

Day 29 - 1/19/11
Well today was a big day! I gave several things and received lots too.
I sent well wishes into the universe and prayed that my half sister, whom I haven't spoken to or seen in years had a good birthday. She turned 42 years old today.
I helped the boss with new hire paperwork and welcomed the new lady to the office.
I went to the bank for a friend.

Day 27- 1/17/11
Today I took my friend to work and then home again in the evening. My mom took my son to a reptile thing and then took him shopping, so indirectly I received clothes and shoes from my parents to my son and he had a great time with his GG.
Day 28-1/18/11
I gave my friend a ride to work again. I also gave the bosses advise on their decision to hire a new person. I received a great dinner from my mom.

I gave good news to a friend. Didn't write in my journal what I received but I know that good things happened. :)

I gave 100+% at work today. Sometimes I think we need to remind ourselves that we do this.
