Spending lots of mental energy praying for a friend who has just had serious surgery and the family of a childhood friend that has passed away. I found this out on facebook and so many people from my past are coming together to share their thoughts about her. She was "only" 50. I know each day is a precious gift, its the hard reminders that make me truly appreciate each and every second.

Still trying to arrange support services for a family in need. A friend of my daughter who was on her dance team last year I will call her M. M and her mom were our traveling and roommate companies for dance competition last year and we bonded and had a blast. M isn't on the team this year. Still trying to arrange support for friend who is having life threatening surgery and whose teen age daughter is holding the family together...praying too and waiting for news.

I had coffee with a friend this morning and ended up helping her edit a letter for about an hour. We had a good time while we worked, I hope she found my suggestions helpful. I also spent some time on the computer trying to arrange a group effort to help a family in need of TLC and support.
