So I am noticing that I am holding doors open for everyone. I don't know if this is a reflection from the last go around with the challenge, but it is cool none-the-less. Part of giving is receiving and even though I am the new Door Woman for San Jose, someone held the door open for me. Sweet. It's working.

Monday. Not an "ugh Monday."
We took a group of friends to the San Jose Giants Game. We drove, we bought the dogs and the beer. It was a lot of fun. Our friends are out of work and it was killer to give them a good fun night.

Money has been a little tight - but what makes up for it is hanging out with friends. My hubby and I were invited out by Heather & Alex. We went to Palo Alto and had some wine and a few appetizers. We tried to pay, but they wouldn't let us. We were all very hungry after that and decided to go out to eat at Cascal in Mountain View. This restaurant rocks, big time! Even though money is tight, my hubby and I picked up the tab. It felt good to give.

Friday was a big day for me. My company, Urban Darling, hosted an event at Kitsch Couture We had a blast! My team and I offered our styling services to the 40+ people who came to shop, drink and have a fun night. In addition to offering our styling services, for free, we raffled off three 2-hour Closet Audits.
It was a very full day of giving. It felt really great.

I have a client who is not financially wealthy. She has had 4 Nordstrom Gift Cards for 5 years - I met her today for an hour and a half and did some power shopping. I gave her the gift of my time, she deserves it and DAMN, she looks cute.
