I haven't been very good about blogging but I have been giving and receiving gifts.  And simple gifts. Things

going a little smoother or easier.  I have been sending cards to people from my past wishing them well or

after hearing a prayer reqest sending a card.  Keep up the great gift giving everyone - one gift at a time brings

so much joy!

I remember reading in Cami's book about her gift of just rubbing her cat's tummy.

So, I took the time to rub our dog's tummy.  Everytime you go to pet her she plops

on her back and shows her tummy.  Now I am not usually a "tummy petter" and

I usually don't stop for a moment to even pet her - the boys are always all over her.

But I stopped, sat down, and rubbed her belly for 1/2 hour.

I have a son (who I love more than I can say) but at times he just won't do what he is

asked when he is asked. And when he finally does do it, it is with an attitude or very

sloppy.  So on this day I just had had it and I snapped at him and said a very bad word

at him. Now understand - I don't cuss and even if I do let a word out NEVER that word.

As soon as it was out of my mouth I felt so bad and knew I had done wrong.
