My husband and I go on a date every Friday night. We do all kinds of fun stuff. We're on a pretty strict budget and so we try to stretch our date money to go as far as possible.

For quite a while I've been meaning to get to a pro bono project. I love the session and wanted to surprise my friends with an idea I had for it.



Today was that day. I sat down and started working on it and my heart felt lighter as looked through images and words. All of our kids have chores. Weekly chores and Saturday chores. The weekly chores are what they do because we're a family and for the Saturday chores they earn commissions.



Tonight, my 5 year old had the chore of unloading the dishwasher and loading it back up. She often asks if she can instead rinse the dishes.
