Dec 3/Day 2 One of my co-workers is working on her doctoral degree in nursing. Yesterday I stopped by her office and asked her how it is going. I sat down, and listened. It was beautiful to observe the passion in her face as she told me she just found out that she passed "comps" and was meeting with the dean next week to discuss the rest of the process. Lately it feels like I have been receiving more than giving, and I accept it with gratitude. I have been on Spring Break for the last week and my son had made plans with me to come and help me with household projects. His plans fell through, and he couldn't get off work. This morning I was writing in my journal and reviewing my intentions for yesterday. I did make it to the library and donated the audio book that I had been carrying around in the car. I also did some other gives that I had not planned. I gave an aloe vera plant to my housekeeper.
