For today, I invited a new acquaintance to have Thanksgiving dinner with me and my friends....he would have been alone (as he is new to Austin) so I thought this would be a great way to give something....

So today is day 15....I purchased 4 of Cami's books....one for me and 3 to give away to friends....this is really fun to do....kind of like random acts of kindness....and it has very much of a ripple effect :)

Day 10...picked up an extra pound of fresh ground coffee for a co worker....



Day 11...brought in a bottle of wine w/cheese & crackers to share with co worker after hours



Day 12...cooked dinner for a friend...also shared good feedback from internet with a lady who is doing some framing for me :)



Day 13...gave something to myself...took a road trip and purchased some fun things for me....but also found a christmas gift for a friend....also purchased some funny… Continue

Even though I have not been posting...I have continued my giving (and receiving!)....sometimes it is a simple as bringing in a breakfast burrito to the receptionist where I work....cooked dinner for a friend...brought in chocolate goodies....contributed to Caring Bridge in honor of a friend who is undergoing chemo for breast cancer....gave extra big tips to waitstaff etc. Have received 2 bottles of wine....someone bought dinner for me :)....generosity from servers....it really does all come… Continue

Day 2....I decided that nothing could be more appropriate than to give to an organization devoted to helping our service men and women so I made a donation to the wounded warriors project....I also thanked a veteran friend for his service to our country and passed along a moving you tube clip about veterans....
