Why I'm choosing to give:: As the "Little Ol' Lady AND the SHOES" of WALK a MILE in MY SHOES on the Path to PEACE!!!, I can 'relate' to CAMI's experience of giving/sharing. I call it My "Get Out Of My Own Way Moments" & the primary 'gift' which I share are "Gently-worn" SHOES. The experience of SPIRITUAL GROWTH & HEALING is/continues to be...exponential.

About me:: In 2004, I received the diagnoisis: Inclusion Body Myositis. A slowly progressive muscle weakening. (In Combination with other maladies/pain) A feeling of having NO PURPOSE consumed my being. One day in June 2008, I learned that 'the thing needed most in AFGHANISTAN were Childrens SHOES. My life changed from that very moment. Today, WAMMS has 'shared' 3086 pairs of SHOES & GOOD NEWS: Spirit SOARS!!!

WAMMS Action Network Direct is a local 'leg' of WALK a MILE in MY SHOES...on the Path to PEACE!!! which seeks to SHARE 'simple' items of sustainability with Folks in Our community who may need the MAGIC.
