- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Giving is not a new concept to me, but rather one I have practiced all of my adult life, taking to heart the Biblical direction of "Whatever you do unto the least of these you have also done unto Me." I also believe in the Biblical verse that says (paraphrase) that whatever you give will be returned to you, "... pressed down in good measure and overflowing."
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Sufficient income to have my own home instead of having to live in a camper.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- Through a friend at work.
- About me:
- I am a clinical geriatric social worker, a wife and mother of three grown children. I love to give to those in need whatever I can to affect a possitive change in their circumstances, and I love animals. I am very compassionate regarding homeless and / or abused animals.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!
