Hi all,
I've received so many notes and will answer them. I'm just so drained after the oral surgery yesterday, but I'm pretty much pain-free without meds. Our old DVD player, a gift from our daughter-in-law about 6 yrs, ago, wasn't compatible with the TV we had to get to replace the one that gave up after only a dozen years. :-)
Isaiah has been so helpful since the oral surgery yesterday, so I told him he could go to the store with Grandpa and pick any toy he wanted.…

Hi all,
Today has been a good day! Having dealt with a broken molar for a week or more, I finally decided it was time to call an oral surgeon. The guy I used before, and all the guys in his practice, were at some seminar.
Checking with our insurance, I called a branch of a group that is all over Florida. The first gal told me that they wouldn't have an oral surgeon until next Wed. We talked a few minutes, and she said she thought there was one at another office…

I was reading blogs and came across a mention of http://www.jphro.org/, which helps the people of Haiti. Their rainy season is coming, and it's raining here, along with a tornado warning. I'm inside, warm, dry, with food, , our dogs, cat, and everything we really need--including more yarn than I will use in a lifetime. I want to help the Haitian people stay warm, dry, and fed, too.

Usually, once a week I go to a book store to check for new knitting magazines. Usually I go while Isaiah, who just turned 5, is in school. I pick up a book or magazine for him, too, since he reads well already. Instead, I waited until he got off the school bus and asked if he would like to go to Barnes and Noble with me.
