Yesterday's give: without giving too many details... I agreed to personally pay the copays and deductibles for someone who was accidentally injured in my office. That's not the give; there was an implied legal threat, and despite the fact that there was no fault on anyone's part, I really had no other choice. It was kind of like "giving" your wallet to someone who has a gun to your head. Not quite the same spirit as the challenge.

I confess it took me a while to get started on this. It's a little hard to figure out what "counts" ... I mean, I'm in a health care profession, so I give all day; and I'm already in the habit of being somewhat kind and generous to the people around me. So does it only "count" if I wouldn't have done it otherwise? ie. only count if it's a bit of a strain?
