Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
I think that more people in the world should open their eyes and see how big of a difference they can make by something so small as giving. I am choosing to give to help others give, so they can help others, and so on. I think that this is an amazing idea. I only hope I will be able to remember to post with each day.

Wow it has been so long since my last post. I know I should have been consistant, but with school work I offten was unable to allow myself the time to write a new blog. However, just because I was unable to post my givings does not mean that I stoped. I gave on several occations to my school and to my friends. Whenever there was a school event I was there to volunteer. And when my friends need help with their work I was there. It felt great being able to be there for someone when the needed me.… Continue

A Few More Days (May 15-18)

These past few days have been great. I have been raising money for this fundraiser event called the Relay for Life. It was a 24 hour long event held at my school where people came to support the American Cancer Society and those who passed due to this disease. It was an amazing event. This was the third year that I have been able to participate. The people who came also spent the night in tents and walked around the track. Other schools also took part as well. But I have to say that the best… Continue

Day #12 (May 14)

Posted on May 14, 2008 at 9:49pm 0 Comments

I am really proud to say that I gave a lot to others today. First, I was able to help my friend by teaching/coaching her how to fix her swing in tennis, during tennis tryouts for school. Then later I went to the Taste of Downtown Glendale which is a fundraiser held for children. There I was able to direct people and give my assistance. I felt so good knowing that my help really affected others.

Day #11

I'm not the best at keeping track, but in the past week or so I have been able to give a lot of myself to others. Whether to my friends who just need to talk about their problems or to help others succeed their goals. I've been giving a lot of motavation to others in order for them to pass on the trend. Even if it was only a smile, I tried to pass around my good vibes to others so they could feel like doing the same. I also gave to myself. I allowed myself time to relax and to take a breather.… Continue

Hey girl,

I hope that you are well. I'll be back in LA this weekend. Maybe we can all get together.

Welcome Francesca. Thanks so much for signing up. I'm glad Ana invited you to join us. Have fun with your 29 days. And don't worry if you can't write every day. That's not a requirement. It is good to jot down some notes about what you give each day so you've got a record for yourself... even if you don't write publically each day. Many people have been doing one post a week and listing what they gave that way.
