Day 4: The Power of Believing in your True Love

Today I send Hilton my first text since mid December. I really miss him and just say so, and acknowledge that he is in my thoughts and my heart, and that I respect if he needs more space. He texts back and we talk for 1 1/2 hours! It's so beautiful. We express the same feelings. I don't hold back - I tell him that I want to create a future together. We have the best conversation and we don't want to get off the phone. We both acknowledge that we still each have work to do, and I tell him that…See More

Day 3: Listening in Friendship

I believe this is where I am. Listening to others. My friend Hannah called in tears today, and all I cared to do was listen. I loved just being with her, and while that was a gift to her, it was also a gift to me.

Day 29: Time and Attention

Well, today is my last day of this first cycle. I'm also on day 11 of my purification diet / body cleanse. I have 10 more to go, and I have not cheated once. Yeah!Today, I give everything time and attention. I give myself some since I haven't really slowed down in the last three weeks. I also give my food time and attention, my kitchen, and I install a brand new Nikken water purification system. I am so excited!I also give time and attention to my daughter. We play dominos again, which we both…See More

The inspiration fluctuates, just like life fluctuates. You're human! It is a world full of ups, downs and inside-outs, and inspiration and drudgery. I think you're doing great! *hugs*

I love the painting by your daughter. How sweet of her to think to paint such special scenes for both of you. I feel like it's been too long since I've painted. I've forgotten how good it feels just to be working with the paint.…

Why I'm choosing to give:
I am heart-broken. I have felt total despair, and fear I might never experience this soulmate love and connection in my life. At my most recent book club, I was introduced to this book. I immediately bought it and knew it was something to take my mind off myself and my grief. I keep feeling tsunami waves of grief, but know that if I focus on others, I will begin my own healing journey. I started giving a few days ago, but did not keep track. Today, I decided to join the website and track it. I continue to read the book.
What I'd most like to receive:
Acceptance, compassion, peace, freedom, full self-expression, gratitude and confidence. Through this journey, I might be ready to reconnect with the love of my life. Regardless, I will have a sense of myself and who I am, like I have not had before.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
Through my book club. I am so grateful for this book, and the opportunity to participate in the giving movement.
About me:
I am the mother of a beautiful little girl, adopted from China. She is six and a half years old, and truly the love of my life. I distribute one of the healthiest raw foods on the planet, considered the best and safest delivery of omega-3s. I love sharing it with people. I love to practice yoga. I embrace the warm people in my life, who stand by me, no matter what I'm going through.

Day 2: Dance of the Listening

Today I spent some time really listening to my friend Beth, and it was so wonderful to be in her space. I am actively taking on listening to others. I am grateful for all the love I have around me. The patience I practice with my daughter around her homework is making all the difference. I'm getting out of my world and into hers, and it's moving mountains.

Day 1: Patience

I took a week off from blogging and I'm starting another cycle. Actually, I'm taking on a lot, starting today, and I love that it's Monday, February 1st.

I'm taking on 21 new days of clean eating. I'm taking on 21 days of yoga training to strengthen my core. I'm taking on 29 days of gifting. I'm taking on being candidate-able as a leader for Landmark Education by Feb 20th. Plus I'm taking on making three new contacts per day to share and grow my business.
