My co-worker's mother is back in the hospital for a biopsy to determine if her cancer is still in remission. She asked for my prayers and I quickly agreed. I thought this could be my gift for today but then I quickly decided that it didn't qualify as one of my daily gifts. On the drive home, while praying again for this family, I suddenly realize that the best gift anyone could give me is a prayer. What was I thinking? This is the perfect gift. I'm excited about starting this journey but a little worried that I'll be able to find "gifts" each day. It sounds like it will come easy after just a few days. Yesterday was my co-worker's birthday so today I'm giving her a card with a $10 gift card to Sonic. I always feel bad during Christmas time that I cannot afford to buy everyone a gift but I've decided this year to give a small birthday gift instead. This way it will be spread out throughout the year and it won't be a financial burden…See More

- I'm a wife and mother of a 7 year old little boy. I work full time and my days/weeks are so hectic that it's hard to find time to think of others. I'm hoping this challange will change that.
