Today, I took muffins to my cognitive behaviour therapy group. It was a day where I noticed that I was giving or wanting to everywhere I went. And I still have more to give. In a bit I am going to a girlfriends B-Day party. I bought a beautiful gift for her. My spirits were really up today. I'm really feeling the momentum now.

I just finished reading, "Chosen by a Horse" and "Broken". Both are non-fiction. Lots of life lessons thoughout both books."

Today when I went through the drive through at Tim's I asked the server if she liked coffee. She said yes so I passed her a twoonie out of the change she was giving me back and told her to buy a coffee for herself at lunch today. It's a small gift but did she ever have a surprised, shocked, and excited look on her face.I also treated myself to a long walk again today and I am about to go for a soak in our hot tub for a while. I'm so thankful to be able to have one. GailSee More

- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I am choosing to give because my daughter passed away 9 months ago and I still feel completely lost. I am trying to find the new me. I'm hoping that the 29-Day Giving Challenge will bring new light into my life and help me begin to find myself.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would most like to receive love and compassion.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I downloaded the e-book from the library simple as a trial for my new e-book reader.
- About me:
- I am so grateful that I was able to download the, "29 Gifts" e-book for the new e-reader that I got as a gift from my husband. I believe that it was all meant to be. It was not a coincadence that I received the e-reader from him as a gift and that the first e-book that I downloaded to read was this book. I can't wait to pass the importance of reading this book on to my friends and family.
I am 47, have a blended family of 8 children (oldest died 9 suddendly 9 months ago), a second husband, 3 dogs and a cat. I live in a small town and love it. I use to like to garden, bicycle, read and draw. Unfortunately nothing seems to matter these days. I am, however, learning to love to read again. I am also trying to live in the moment (which is proving to be benefitial but difficult at times).

Day 19 - 21

On Saturday my husband and I helped a friend out at a charity dance. We began at 11:00 am and worked until 12:3 0 am on Sunday morning. The fundraiser was a huge success and I'm glad I could help out. Sunday was a day of rest for both of us but I managed to cook dinner. One of my daughters came over for a visit and I gave her my old laptop to use as hers broke and she needs one for college. Today I am giving myself a second cup of Tim Horton's coffee.
