Thanks for your blog. I've learned from it. I could be giving more to my son now as he will only be with me for 2 more short years before he is off to college. It really helps thinking of it this way because lately I've been so frustrated with him (…

Hi Yo mama. I think it's great that you can ask for something back after having given it. It shows that you have trust and faith in your friendship.

Hi Gloria, Great reading this. Although I don't know any details, when I think about my own issues, it always helps me to read about other's issues. And I like how you can be strong enough to be completely truthful with him and honest with yourself…

If you look, you'll see I was whining on my blog post today also. Hope the following jokes put a smile on your face as they did to mine. * What if "the hokey pokey" is REALLY what it's all about? -- Curtis Spencer * We are the people our parents w…

Thanks for the idea Andra. That's a great idea, especially since I'm always in a hurry and rushed in everything I do. I guess I can try and do that the rest of today too. It'll probably help my driving too.

Days 10 -14 Jan. 30 - Feb. 3

It feels like and it has been a long time since I've blogged here.

Day 10 - Sat. Jan. 30th -- I did a lot of giving. Gave a hair color/cut to a friend and dinner to others and gift for a baby and gave 1 flower each (from the Daisies I purchased a week ago) to the women who were over for dinner.
Day 11 - Sunday Jan. 31st - Went to an expo in NY and the only thing I remember giving there was getting into a conversation with an elderly lady by the expo exit and just letting her talk and talk and t… Continue

Day 9 - Wed. Jan 27, 2010

I had a better day today than yesterday. I heard from a friend this morning that I haven't heard from in a while and it was really great. Thankful for orders I received on my website. Unfortunately, I can't think of what I've given today. I give all the time, but I can't think of what I've given intentionally with that purpose in mind. Well, my friend said he wanted me to email him for 29 days (when I talked of the 29gifts...) and I did email him this morning also -- does that count as a gift? T… Continue

Day 8 - Tues Jan. 26

I must confess I haven't done much giving today. I've been so exhausted all day today (a carry over from yesterday) and didn't sleep well last night. And to top it off I hate feeling this way -- I feel so guilty. My mother, who is 25 years older than I am, can physically keep working and working even if she's exhausted. While me, when I'm physically tired, I just stop and take the break(s) that I need. Need to work on this mind over matter a bit more. I did manage to give a daisy to cashier at t… Continue

Day 6-7, Sun & Mon Jan. 24-25, 2010

Hello all.
A little abundance came my way. I received an order on our website for magic glass eggs (www.giftfulthinking.com) about a week before Christmas. Unfortunately, we didn't have the items ordered in stock and stock and I advised the customer I should be getting them in 1st week of Jan (that is what we were advised by the supplier). Anyway, the goods were late -- we didn't get them in till Thursday the 21st. I felt so bad about it. Because I fe… Continue
